Donate money

LOCAL Transit is funded through Federal transportation funds so it is a break-even service. Our driver salaries, maintenance costs and operations are funded through Federal, state and local match monies.

On the other hand, HDB receives no public funds to operate The Community Care Clinic. Its patients do not receive assistance through Medicaid or Medicare so we depend on private and corporate donations as our main source of funds. Any donation you can make is used to ensure medical care is available for patients. Funds are used for expenses that include direct care through the salary of a part-time nurse practitioner who augments our volunteer services, prescription assistance, follow-up referrals, clinic malpractice insurance, and laboratory licensure. In addition, we accept unused, sealed medications which are not out-of-date. We accept other selected useful items on a case-by-case basis. Please call (520 222 6400) before bringing anything you wish to donate to the Clinic.

Donate time

Volunteers are the heart of The Community Care Clinic. We are in need of medical professionals to pledge two hours monthly (the hours of your choice) to see patients. Other volunteers are needed for receptionist and administrative duties such as answering the phone and calling to confirm appointments.
