About HDB

Mission Statement

A 501c3 charitable organization, HDB’s primary mission is to facilitate and organize services that improve the health and well-being of the elderly, people with disabilities and/or those of low income through service and encouragement.

We are responsible for initiating OLDHAM'S PUBLIC BUS, a service that did not exist in Oldham County prior to 2002 when we opened the doors at HDB.

OLDHAM'S PUBLIC BUS enables people without their own transportation to get to employment sites, grocery stores, medical facilities, pharmacies and government/community services. All of our busses are lift equipped for people who use wheelchairs or walkers. Our emphasis is on safe, quality, on-time service focused on superior customer service. Currently, we serve only Oldham County.
